Sleep Apnea Appliances

A quieter, easier alternative to CPAP.

What it is

Helping You Breathe Easier.

A sleep apnea appliance is a custom-fit oral device worn at night. It gently repositions the lower jaw to keep the airway open while you sleep — reducing snoring, easing the symptoms of obstructive sleep apnea, and helping you wake up rested.

For many patients, an oral appliance is a comfortable, quiet alternative to CPAP. We work closely with your physician or sleep specialist to make sure the appliance is the right fit for your diagnosis, and adjust it over time as your needs change.

When an appliance can help.

  1. i.

You've been diagnosed with mild to moderate sleep apnea.

An oral appliance is often an effective first-line option, prescribed in coordination with your sleep physician.

  2. ii.

You can't tolerate CPAP, or you travel often.

A custom appliance is quiet, compact, and easy to take with you — an alternative many patients actually stick with.

  3. iii.

Loud snoring is affecting your sleep, or your partner's.

Snoring is worth a conversation. A sleep study can identify whether an appliance is the right next step.

  4. iv.

You wake up tired, foggy, or with morning headaches.

Daytime symptoms often trace back to interrupted breathing at night — treatable, and worth investigating.
