Questions we are often asked.
How long does the process take?
For most patients, about three weeks from first consultation to final seating. The exact timeline depends on the scope of the case — straightforward cases can move faster, and cases that involve whitening or alignment to support the result will run longer. We’ll walk you through the timeline specific to your situation at consultation.
Will my teeth need to be filed down?
Whenever the case allows, we use a minimal- or no-preparation approach — preserving as much of your natural tooth structure as possible. When more extensive preparation is required, it’s done with the same precision and conservatism we apply to everything else, and only to the degree necessary for the design to work over the long term.
Will the result look like veneers?
No. The aesthetic standard we hold ourselves to is that the work should disappear into your face — that no one should be able to tell. This is the reason we keep our master ceramist in-house and design every smile around the patient’s features specifically. Color, shape, and translucency are built layer by layer to read as the patient’s own teeth, not as porcelain.
What does Smile Optimization cost?
Every case is priced individually because every case is built individually. The variables are the number of teeth involved, the complexity of the design, and any restorative or alignment work needed to support the aesthetic result. We’ll provide a complete, itemized estimate after the consultation — no surprises later.
